living Room by HAILES 3.19: live at ITLF ft. YANA
March 20, 2026
**LIVING ROOM by HAILES: live at ITLF w/ Special Guest YANA** **Session One. Thursday March 19th.** An invitation, not a show. 'living Room' by Hailes is a curated, artist-led residency where each night opens and closes with Hailes, welcoming a featured artist into the center of the experience. This time featuring special guest Yana. ***Hailes***: Artist, Songwriter, Broadway performer, and Kansas City native Hailes brings an unforgettable one-night-only performance to **In The Lowest Ferns**. Blending soul, R&B, jazz and cinematic storytelling, Hailes commands the stage with a full live band for an intimate, high energy experience. ***Yana:*** A multi-talented musician and actor originally from Southfield, Michigan, who has established herself as a dynamic force on both the stage and in the studio. Growing up in a theatrical family, Perrault bypassed traditional academia to pursue a career in performance, landing roles on Broadway as a swing for Jagged Little Pill and cast as 'Peggy' in the Hamilton "Angelica" tour. Beyond her acting credits, she is a self-taught producer and singer-songwriter who gained initial traction with viral YouTube covers of songs like "Sweater Weather" and "Redbone." Identifying as an artist who defies rigid categorization, Perrault draws inspiration from artists like Nai Palm and James Blake to create authentic, genre-blending original music that reflects her journey of self-discovery and resilience. Music Meditation and Album Release Show - Brandon Draper w/ Allaudin Ottinger
March 22, 2026
***Music Meditation and Album Release Show - Brandon Draper w/ Allaudin Ottinger*** The handpan has long been one of the most intriguing and mysterious instruments for many of my listeners. Invented in Switzerland in 2000, it’s still a young instrument—only 26 years old—yet its sound carries a timeless, almost ancient quality. After years of playing the handpan throughout the US for music meditation, yoga classes, and immersive performances with Quixotic as well as Drum Safari, I felt called to create an album devoted entirely to this instrument. I recorded this project during the winter of 2025–26, a season when turbulent world events were stirring anxiety for many. My intention was to craft a record of peace, reflection, and prayer—a space for grounding in the midst of uncertainty. I hope this album offers my listeners moments of calm and opportunities for meditation, healing, and renewal of mind, body, and spirit. The primary voice on the record is the E minor Isthmus Instruments handpan, handcrafted in Madison, Wisconsin. Alongside it, I also explore the Nova Pan, the Rav Vast, Australian didjeridoo, Indian tabla, and Cooperman frame drums inspired by North African and Middle Eastern traditions. Clay By Candlelight 3.24
March 25, 2026
Enjoy an intimate evening creating pinched pottery In The Lowest Ferns. This is an invitation to get your hands dirty and create intuitively in a grounding, communal space." Audrey, our instructor and the artist behind Audrey Jean Ceramics will demonstrate the fundamentals for building a pinch pot. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll have the freedom to experiment with different shapes and let your hands lead. Your finished pieces will then be clear glazed, kiln fired, and ready for pick up at a later date. \*The bar will be open offering cocktails, mocktails, and other refreshments to enjoy while you create. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that can get messy. Come as you are. \_\_\_\_\_ POTTERY PICKUP: Finished pieces will need time to dry before being bisque-fired, clear glazed, and fired in the kiln once more. The time this process takes varies, but the estimated turnaround time is 2 weeks. Once ready, you’ll receive an email with pickup details. Pieces can be collected on Thursday nights In The Lowest Ferns during our NOMADA Radio listening hours (8pm - close). If you’re unable to pick up at that time, please email audreyjeanceramics@gmail.com to arrange an alternative pickup. Your pieces will be food, microwave, and dishwasher safe, but handwashing is recommended. THE NATURE OF HANDMADE: While rare, pieces may crack during the drying or firing process. This is part of working with clay and creating something handmade. If it happens, we’re so sorry and hope you still embrace the experience and the time spent creating.
