OSUNLADE [Yoruba Records], Veteran DJ and producer, Osunlade has been crafting music for over three decades. Under both his own name and his inimitable Yoruba Soul alias he’s become synonymous with his ability to create entrancing raw percussive grooves. His productions are spiritual and organic, a characteristic that stems from his Yoruba traditions and his work as a priest of the Ifá religion. On 4/20 Osunlade will land in the ferns to deliver a hair raising transmission, that will have you both grounded and lifted in an alternate dimension. Afrolicious Soundsystem
Afrolicious Soundsystem started as a weekly party in San Francisco in the Mission district and a celebration of soulful, funky, polyrhythmic music from the African diaspora with a love and respect for DJ culture and live music. Connecting dots from Afrobeat, Disco, House, Hip-hop, Dub, Reggae, Afro-Cuban, Samba, Bossa, Batucada, Swing, R&B, Blues, Jazz, and all things funky. Friday April 26th, Afrolicious Soundsystem, featuring Joe Mcguire and Kiko de Gallo debuts at the ferns to bring us a groovy DJ performance mixed with live percussion.
